A VAILLANCOURT CHRISTMAS
After 35 years of creating Christmas magic, co-founder Gary Vaillancourt put pen to paper to write the story of how Vaillancourt Folk Art began. Half memoir, half history lesson, “It’s Hard to Tell When A Tradition Begins” weaves the story of how Gary and Judi met, started a family, re-built historical homes, championed chalkware, and provides a brief history of gift-givers and Christmas traditions around the world. Studio Eighty Seven was responsible for marrying Gary’s words with photos, and designing a framework for the layout of the book that would complement both.
